My journey started back in high school and led to nearly 20 years of owning and operating a coffee shop alongside my family. I thought I knew everything there was to love about the bean until I started roasting it myself. That’s when the obsession truly took root!
A trip to the coffee farms of Nicaragua changed my perspective forever. Seeing firsthand the grueling hard work, dedication, and raw passion that goes into the harvest before the beans even reach a roaster was a humbling & inspiring experience. It instilled in me a deep respect for the craft and a drive to honor that labor in every batch I roast.
No Snobs, Just Love
I’m back at the roaster now, focusing on small-batch, fresh, locally roasted coffee. While I take the quality of my roast seriously, I don't take how you drink it seriously at all.
Black? Cool.
With cream and sugar? Wicked.
